White Farmhouse, Stolen Paintings
Sometime in early 2010, Elene Guarente had summoned the FBI’s Geoff Kelly and Anthony Amore, security chief for the Gardner, to her Maine home and was relaying her suspicions about her late husband, Gentile, and the stolen Gardner paintings.
This is what she told them: In the early 1990s, her husband showed her a painting shortly after they moved into the “white farmhouse” in Madison, Maine.
…
With her approval, federal authorities conducted a thorough search of the farmhouse in Madison where her husband lived while in Maine. They found nothing.
